A private trip to the north of Azerbaijan, a land of mountains, forests and colourful landscapes.
The first stop is the Candy Cane Mountains near Khizi: red-and-white striped hills that photographers love. Then we continue to Quba, known for its apple orchards and carpets.
The main part of the day is Shahdag mountain resort in the Qusar district, with views of the Caucasus and cable cars that run all year. On the way back we stop in the Gachresh forest for fresh air and a rest.
