This private tour is the easiest way to see Baku's thousand-year history and its modern architecture in a single day. Your driver picks you up at your hotel and stays with you all day, so you decide how long to spend at each place.
The day starts in the UNESCO-listed Old City (Icherisheher): narrow stone streets, the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and old caravanserais. We then drive up to Highland Park for the best view over the Bay of Baku and the Caspian Sea, next to the Alley of Martyrs and the Flame Towers.
In the afternoon you walk along the Seaside Boulevard, visit Little Venice, Nizami Street and Fountain Square, and finish at the Heydar Aliyev Center designed by Zaha Hadid. Shopping or restaurant stops can be added on request.
