From 24 to 30 October 2026 Baku hosts the first FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival. FIFA expects about 190 member associations and around 3,000 participants: players born in 2011–2012, coaches and staff.
Format and venues
Teams play an 8-a-side format, two halves of 20 minutes, and every team plays at least nine matches. In total about 950 matches are planned over six days. Most games take place at the Hovsan Competition Complex in the south-east of Baku; the opening match and the finals are at Baku Crystal Hall on the seafront.
Each delegation has up to 14 players and six staff, so the city will see many groups of around 20 people arriving at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the days before the tournament.
Getting around
Hovsan is about 20–25 minutes by car from the city centre and about 30 minutes from the airport; Crystal Hall is next to National Flag Square. Expect busier roads and hotels around the opening and final days.
Transfers for teams and families
4T Transfer runs airport pick-ups with a name sign for whole delegations: minivans for 6, minibuses for 8, 16 and 20 people, and a fixed price per vehicle. We can also stay with a team for daily trips between the hotel and the venues.
