Sheki Day Tour
Sheki Khan's Palace, the Caravanserai, Kish Albanian Church and the old town.
Sheki is one of the most beautiful historic towns of Azerbaijan. Set at the foot of the Greater Caucasus, its historic centre and the Khan's Palace are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
On the way we stop in Topchu village for tea and lunch. In Sheki we visit the Palace of the Sheki Khans, famous for its “shebeke” stained-glass windows, and the large Silk Road caravanserai.
Then we see the ancient Albanian church in Kish and walk through old Sheki with its craftsmen, souvenirs and the famous Sheki halva. The road is long, so we start early and return to Baku in the evening.
