BookRequest

Goygol is a small town 10 km south of Ganja, the former German colony of Helenendorf, founded in 1819 by Swabian settlers from Württemberg. The town still has the Lutheran St. John's Church (now a museum), about 300 German houses and a winery that has been working since 1860.

In the mountains to the south lies Goygol National Park with lakes Goygol and Maralgol.

How to get there from Baku
