Sheki

Sheki is a Silk Road town at the foot of the Greater Caucasus. Its historic centre with the Khan's Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Do not miss the Palace of the Sheki Khans with its stained-glass windows, the old caravanserai, the Albanian church in Kish and the famous Sheki halva.

Getting there with 4T Transfer

Sheki is about 5 hours from Baku. A one-way transfer costs from 250 ₼ per car. Our 12-hour Sheki tour is a long but rewarding day; many guests prefer to stay one night.

Best time to visit

April to October. Autumn is especially beautiful, when the forests around the town turn gold.

Good to know

You can stay overnight in the historic Upper Caravanserai. Try piti — a lamb stew cooked in clay pots — and buy kelaghayi silk scarves.
