Baku to Goygol Transfer — Private Car with Driver
Goygol is a small town 10 km south of Ganja, founded in 1819 as the German colony of Helenendorf.
From Baku it is about 364 km to the town and about 350 km, roughly 4.5 hours, to the lake in Goygol National Park.
People come for the old German streets, the Lutheran church, a winery working since 1860 and the mountain lakes Goygol and Maralgol.
There is no direct train, and by bus you change in Ganja.
By car we take you straight to the park or into town; a winery visit or another longer stop is agreed when you book.

Goygol has two halves, the German town below and the lakes up in the mountains:

- Goygol WineryWorking since 1860; a 30-minute cellar tour with tasting, by booking.
- Lake GoygolA mountain lake at about 1,500 m in the national park; swimming is not allowed.
- Lake MaralgolSmaller and quieter, with Mount Kapaz reflected in it; reached by the park shuttle.
A short stop is free; a longer stop or a detour — agree it when booking.

How much is a transfer from Baku to Goygol?
One way, per car: $180 by Standard sedan or $200 by Minivan (5 seats). Other classes are priced in the booking form. On some holiday dates a holiday rate applies; the booking form shows it before you send the request.
How long is the drive from Baku to Goygol?
About 364 km to the town and about 350 km, roughly 4.5 hours, to the lake. The last 5.6 km to the lake are an asphalt road from 2017, steep in places.
Can the car drive right up to Lake Goygol?
Cars can cover part of the way from the park entrance; after that you walk or take the park shuttle. Parking is paid at the entrance, and the park is usually open 9:00–18:00.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes, a short stop for coffee, food or the toilet is normal on long routes. If you want a longer stop or a detour to a sight, tell us when booking so we can agree it in advance.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, a child seat costs $10. Please give the child's age when booking.
