Masalli

Masalli is a green district in the south of Azerbaijan, between the Caspian coast and the forested Talysh Mountains, just north of Lankaran.

It is best known for the Istisu hot springs in the forest above the town, where people come to bathe in warm mineral water. The surrounding hills offer forest walks, waterfalls and mountain villages, and the region is famous for its fresh vegetables, citrus fruit and southern cuisine.

April to June and September to November; summers in the south are hot and humid.
