It is a district of craft villages and vineyards: 37 km up the road is Lahij, the coppersmiths' village, and close by are Basqal with its silk kelaghayi scarves, the Molokan village of Ivanovka and Chabiant Winery.
There is no train to Ismayilli, and only two minibuses a day go on to Lahij.

Yes. Lahij is 37 km from Ismayilli, about 40 minutes. Cars are not allowed in the historic part during the day, so you walk the main street; allow 2–3 hours with the workshops and lunch.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes, a short stop for coffee, food or the toilet is normal on long routes. If you want a longer stop or a detour to a sight, tell us when booking so we can agree it in advance.
